If It Arrives Broken

What to do when the box is wrong, short or damaged.

Go Back to Where You Bought It

Returns and replacements are handled entirely by the store that took your payment. Open the order page of the partner store you bought from, find the item, and start the return there. In most cases the whole thing takes a couple of minutes and a label is issued immediately.

We cannot start that process on your behalf, accept a parcel, or issue any kind of refund. We never held the item and we never held the money.

Photograph It First

Before anything else, take a photograph of the damage and of the packaging it arrived in. Craft supplies travel badly — ceramic banks chip, poster board creases at the corner, glitter glue leaks — and a photograph settles the question instantly.

If a bulk pack is short, photograph the contents laid out. Counting a thousand tissue squares is nobody's idea of an afternoon, but a photograph of a half-empty bag is usually enough.

Short Counts and Wrong Colors

Assorted packs are assorted, which means the mix inside can vary between production runs even when the total count is right. That is not a fault and a return is unlikely to help, though it is worth telling us so we can note it on the card.

A genuinely wrong item or a genuinely short count is a different matter and the store will replace it. Raise it within the return window stated on your order rather than waiting to see whether it matters.
