How We Handle Your Details
What this site collects, which is very little.
No Accounts, No Checkout
There is nothing to sign up for here and nothing to buy, so there is no account, no password and no payment information. We never see a card number because no transaction ever happens on this site.
If you write to us, we keep the message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and a reasonable while afterwards in case the conversation continues. We do not add you to anything and there is no mailing list to be added to.
What the Site Measures
We count page views in aggregate so we know which shelves are useful and which guides nobody reads. That counting records the page, the rough region and the kind of device, and it is not tied to a name or an email address. We do not build profiles and we do not sell anything to advertisers.
The site sets no advertising cookies of its own.
Leaving This Site
When you follow a product button you arrive at a different company's website, and from that point their privacy policy applies rather than ours. What they collect, how they use it and how long they keep it is set out in their own policy, and it is worth reading if the question matters to you.
We have no access to anything you do once you leave, including whether you bought anything.
Asking Us to Delete Something
Write to us and we will delete any correspondence we hold from you. Since that is essentially all we hold, the request is quick to satisfy and we will confirm when it is done.
